A Pizza My Heart By: Teagan Hunter

A Pizza My Heart (Slice #1)
Author: Teagan Hunter
Published: June 2019
Publisher: Teagan Hunter
Format: ARC E-Book
Pages: 245
Rating: 4/5
Summary:
Most people would probably be embarrassed to land themselves back in their hometown and working at a pizzeria after an ugly divorce.

Not me.

It’s home, and I have one last shot to make Wren Daniels see me as more than just her brother’s best friend.

When the opportunity to show her what’s been right in front of her this whole time presents itself, I take it, holding nothing back this time.

Wren thinks we’re pretending, but there’s nothing fake about the way I feel.

After all, she’s always had…a pizza my heart.

Review:
First, I'd like to thank Teagan Hunter for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review! I'll totally admit this, even though I'm sure a ton of Teagan Hunter fans are probably shaking their heads at me, but... This is the first book I've read by her! I know, I know how is that possible! Honestly, I actually got to finally meet this beauty in person the past February at Holidays With The Belles event in Texas, and she's honestly THE BEST! Not to mention bad-ass at how she's not only killing it in to book world, but literally her entire weight loss journey, her author swag, and covers are just on point! Okay enough about that, let's get onto the review!

Okay so right from the beginning, this book is honestly hilarious! The connection that Wren and Hunter have is palpable! The witty banter, the easy-going friends and family, and the amount of sexual jokes were amazing! I loved all the puns, and I swear after reading this, I was having major pizza cravings for days... Including now as I write the review!

This is definitely a rom-com for sure, so I found it to be totally relatable! This was definitely a fast-paced read for me, and I was LOVING every moment between Wren and Hunter! I just couldn't get enough of the two of them!

Can we take a second and just talk about Wren's brother and her best friend? Like the secondary characters in here were absolutely hilarious. Where do these people come from and how can I get them?!

Honestly, this was a great read! I loved the way Teagan wrote these characters, and how you can feel the sexual tension that could be cut with a plastic kiddie knife. You can tell that they want one another, but there are reasons why they never took the chance years ago. It was funny, heart-warming and gave me all the fixings I needed for this new series!

That's all for my review, I hope you enjoyed it, and seriously go get yourself a copy of this book... and pizza, because you'll be craving it when you're done reading this!

So until the next time, Keep Reading!
Your Graduated Bookworm!! :)
