Summary:

When the woman I once loved walks into my bar, the life I’ve built is shattered.

I fled everything I’ve ever known for a small town, forced to run from the motorcycle club I considered family after a deal gone wrong.

After thirty years of laying low, my past has caught up to me in the gorgeous, green-eyed form of Roxanne Archer.

She was my world back then. One look at her now, wearing that crest I once wore with pride, and it all comes rushing back. Everything we had… and how I ruined it all.

But I’m not running this time. I’ve been given a second chance, and I’ll do whatever it takes to make her mine.

Review:

A little delayed on writing this review, especially since it's a quick read but this was such a sweet second chance story with a good dose of spice!

Since it's such a quick read, I don't have a lot to say without spoiling things. One thing I wish was for there to be a bit more time spent talking about the past, Roxanne's father and what happened all those years prior. Other than that, it was still a great story as you do learn about some of the things that happened 30 years ago.

I loved seeing characters from Hot for the Principal in this since we got a glimpse of Joe from that book as well. And oh Joe! This man is definitely the fatherly type to a lot of the side characters, but the way he works to get his second chance with
Roxanne... so sweet.

You can feel the connection that Joe and Roxanne have is still burning even after thirty years! The more time they spend together, the closer they come to get their HEA.

Let's take a second to talk about the spice because even for two people in their 50's... DAMN do things heat up real quick! It's like no time had passed for these two!

Overall this was a sweet and spicy novella, with a second chance that was meant to be! I do wish a bit more conversation of the past, but these two have already been through so much that their love story was just great!

That's all for my review, I hope you liked it, and be sure to check out Hot for the Bartender!

So until next time, keep reading!

Your Graduated Bookworm! :)
