How far is too far?
Ask yourself what lines are ones that you would never, under any circumstance, ever cross?
What is unforgivable? Unjustifiable? Deplorable.
What if someone you loved was on the other side of that line?
Would you cross it, if it meant selling your soul to the devil in exchange for their freedom?
Well I’m your worst fucking nightmare and they call me Misfit.
I fix things. People, problems. Your broken heart with my cock. The list is endless.

Until the day I stumbled upon a beautiful Înger who drew the evil right from my bone marrow

Review:
First, I would like to thank R. Holmes for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

This book honestly leaves me with a mixture of emotions. Yes it's SUPER intense, but the problem for me was that I felt like there should have been more depth to the main characters a bit more.

Episode 12 No GIF by The BachelorSo for me, I felt like the initial moment of the book comes in very hot and intense, but then it felt like there was a moment where I blinked and missed something. One moment Misfit is doing one thing, and the next Ivy is part of this lifestyle to some extent, but there's not much happening between those moments to build up the reasons why she needs to be in his life... it just happens.

I felt like Misfit might have been too strong of a character for my taste. I feel like if he was scaled back just a tad, I might have enjoyed reading more into his life and actually ship this couple more. But just because I say he's strong, doesn't mean someone else might not enjoy his devious ways!

I also felt like there wasn't too much into their past, that really helps build both characters independently and together, and I was really looking for that. I was also hoping to read more into Ivy's point of view into this novel and getting an insight into why she's doing the things she's doing and why she fall so hard for Misfit, because I just couldn't really connect to her.

Apart from that, there was tons of action, the premise is totally there and the steaminess is definitely through the roof! Like there was nothing being held back from Misfit and his insane ways.

baby intense reading GIFI also really loved the secondary characters in the novel, and I really think that they helped not only the story move, but also make Misfit more personable by having them around. You can tell there's a lot of Alphas in the group, but they all have their own quirks! I would love to read a story from a couple of them.

That cliffhanger though?! That definitely has me wanting to read more to this story. I really enjoyed reading about the MC lifestyle and definitely want to read more of that! I was VERY hooked to this story, and it was really fast-paced and quite the page turner!

Overall, this was a pretty good read! For me, I just wish there was a little more backstory and Ivy's POV to really drive the connection home. Other than that, it was insanely hot, intense, sexual to no end and quick read!

That's all for my review, I hope you all enjoyed it!

So until the next time, Keep Reading!
Your Graduated Bookworm!! :)
