Summary:
I, Fallon Hayes, need to stop playing pranks on my boss. Did I mention he’s my new roommate?

Being the private chef for the retired hockey player who haunts my fantasies is a bad idea. Living down the hall from him is an even worse idea, especially considering the one night stand we had ten years ago.

What happened back then was unforgettable. Proof that we are destined to hate each other.

3 reasons why I absolutely cannot fall for my boss / roommate / one-night-stand:

1. I hate him and haven’t spoken to him in a decade.
2. Poisoning your CEO client is bad for the chef business.
3. Harrison Stafford obviously doesn’t do commitment (unless it’s the demon cat we’ve adopted).

Pranking Harrison is the highlight of my day. Sure, I work for him. But bedazzling his most prized possession is just one of the secret ingredients for my innocent revenge.

One night with him again – and I, Fallon Hayes, know I’m about to get burned.

Review:
First, I'd like to thank Ann Einerson & Team for sending me an ARC copy to review! I've LOVEDDD Aspen Grove from the very beginning and I'm a little sad that we're leaving this series! I've felt like a fly on the wall, or have been part of the family gatherings so much that it's hard to believe we're done! I hope that we get to have some new stories bringing us back to this place, because it's been awesome, and the way that Ann writes this town makes you want to live in it for real!

Right from the beginning, you're sucked into Fallon & Harrison's relationship. Or I guess, lack of it because while they had a fling ten years ago... both of them have some baggage that they never really talked about or got over from that night. It's clear that both of them hold onto this anger from that one night stand, but as you go through their story, you start to see why they had an attraction in the first place and make their way to understanding what happened all those years ago!

One thing that I really loved with this one was Walter. While he may seem somewhat insignificant to some characters (a grandmother who shall not be named) he plays such a huge role in Fallon's life, and truly is a gem. This man needs to be protected at all costs! The bond they created once she moved in with Harrison was so incredibly sweet, I loved reading their interactions any chance I got!

Now me being slightly greedy, I would have so loved to read more about Fallon's grandmother and have her kind of cause a little more drama than she did to have her ass handed to her. Don't get me wrong, she got the day she deserves, but I would've so loved something even more dramatic... but that's just me LOL.

I need to say one thing with Harrison though. While he may have put up a front the entire time "hating" Fallon, there are so many sweet and swoon-worthy moments that slip in and I seriously felt my heart warming at his actions. I don't want to spoil those, but man he is the sweetest when you get to see him more outside of his work life!

Cat... that was probably the most hilarious aspect to this story and the way that Ann was able to tie it all back at the end of the book actually surprised me, but in the best way possible! It was pure genius, and that's all I'm going to say because you really need to read the book to get to know Cat.

As always, their family dynamic is something that I couldn't get enough of. Johanna knowing they're meant to be together like all her other kids, and just trying to find that way to meddle until they realized their feelings are mutual. It's always the best! Of course you're gonna get some steaminess, but not until there's a real build up waiting to explode and boy do these two get hot when things finally snap!

Overall, I loved Fallon and Harrison! They were hot, electric, sweet, and all the things that make you fall in love with Ann Einerson's work and Aspen Grove. It was emotional and had me DEVOURING the pages as fast as I could read them! And the food talk?! Oh man it was amazing to read all these dishes that Fallon was creating, I was getting hungry almost every chapter!

That's all for my review, I hope you enjoyed it and seriously if you haven't read this series yet, what are you waiting for?! Grab your copy today and binge the Aspen Grove Series!

So until next time, keep reading!
Your Graduated Bookworm!! :)
