Summary:

Help Wanted: Grumpy Mountain Man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting in the form of communication and nosey brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.

I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.

But I can’t fault the results once the right woman lands on my lap.
Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it’s the biggest decision of my entire life.

Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she’s perfect.

She’s wild, she’s opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her…

She’s the exact type of person I was holding out for.

And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby making dance…when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing, and the home insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter…

I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.

I want to make her mine.

Review:

First, I'd like to thank Amy for allowing me to beta read an early copy. This review is my honest thoughts and opinions.

If I could give this book infinity stars I would because the way Amy got me to bawl my eyes out takes some serious work. I don't know if that's a good thing for her or me, but here we are!

I had zero expectations going into this with it being a surrogacy book, but I am left speechless and absolutely impressed and anxiously waiting book 2! Just WOW!! I couldn't put it down, I was DEVOURING the pages as fast as I could, I was so drawn to the characters and their story.

Trista is relatable in some ways, and I really loved the representation of a plus size girlie finding her HEA. Yeah, she comes off as confident, but there's come underlying things about her that make her have feelings of always having to do stuff on her own. Never having someone to take care of her which turns into a big change once she agrees to be Wyatt's surrogate.

The interaction and family dynamic in this story is one I will love forever. Having that found family for Trista was EXACTLY what she needed and when I tell you that one specific chapter... you'll get to it, and know. That chapter had my heart in my throat, tears free falling, and every single emotion that was inside of me just burst through. I can't say more without spoiling but it was *CHEFS KISS*

While y'all know I have a love hate relationship with slow burns (because I love that it pulls you in just enough but hate for that reason as well LOL) Amy wrote this perfectly. The growth from beginning to end was great, and once they finally broke their contract rules... all bets were off and things got HOT!

Wyatt is truly a grump with a heart of gold. He may claim to want a life alone with a child and his brothers, but clearly there's more to life than that. And you see him start to open up more towards Trista and realize that he can have love and a beautiful family too without disaster happening.

Overall, this was a fantastic read. Sometimes they say you read books at the perfect time, and this one clearly got me crying my eyes out over it! A phenomenal, emotional, raw, and captivating story by Amy Daws. This is a great start to a new series that's a level up from her previous work and I can't wait for more!

That's all for my review, I hope you loved it and be sure to one-click your copy today!!

So until the next time, keep reading!
Your Graduated Bookworm!! :)
