Summary:

Bull riding is all Gavin’s known for years, but when it’s time to retire, he can’t let go of the reckless lifestyle. He finds a job that brings him to a small-town Texas ranch and face-to-face with the woman who snuck out after their one-night stand.

She can pretend she’s over him, but he’s not letting her go that easily.

Maize Bishop spends her days cooking and baking for her family’s bed and breakfast. The last thing she has time for is a relationship, especially when there are no single men within a hundred-mile radius. When a mysterious newcomer flirts with her over drinks, she gives in to his mesmerizing green eyes and goes home with him.

Now that he works for her family’s ranch, she’ll avoid him at all costs.

There are only so many places to hide, and keeping her distance is easier said than done. After months of giving her space, Gavin’s tired of waiting for Maize to admit what he knows they both want—a second round between the sheets. It may only take eight seconds to win a championship, but he’ll prove to her that he can go all night long.

She’s too young, he’s too arrogant, and together, they’re electric—the perfect recipe for disaster.

**Wrangling the Cowboy is a complete standalone and can be read without reading any of the other books or series, but if you prefer to read in order, start with Hitching the Cowboy as the characters and families do interconnect.**

Review:
First, I would like to thank Kennedy Fox for sending me an ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Okay, so clearly I've been missing out on some Cowboy Romance lately, but I'm here for that and all the small town romance these days! Of course, writing these reviews late... like always, but the Circle B Ranch and these Bishops are like a family I'm part of, and yes I know they're fictional ok!

So if you didn't know, the Circle B Ranch is the second generation Bishop family, and don't let the age fool you... these Bishops keep things HOT!

Maize and Gavin bring so much angst and sexual tension, you could cut it with a spoon, it's intense! I do have to say there were definitely moments where I wanted to shake Maize and tell her to just go for it. The games and torture Gavin goes through just to prove to her that he's the one... man oh man.

I didn't read this in order, and kind of kick myself in the ass for that, but still love the Bishops and their usual antics. Personally, I think you should read them in order, because you get a better feel and reading experience by reading the series in order, even though they are standalone novels.

That being said, I could not stop reading, it was such a page turner. Filled with a roller coaster of emotions, and the HEAT when things finally happen... OMG where is a fan when you need one?

Overall, this was a fun and quick read! I love going back to the Circle B Ranch, and I loved reading this second generation! The build up and relationship between Gavin and Maize was amazing. You see her slowly start to break from this tough exterior as Gavin tells her he's done playing games, and let me tell you whole scene was just *chefs kiss*. Not to mention the entire Bishop family and dynamic you have, it honestly feels like you've become part of the family!

That's all for my review, I hope you enjoyed it, and be sure to grab your copy today!

So until the next time, keep reading!
Your Graduated Bookworm! :)
