From the author of One Last Time comes a story about first love, second chances, and starting over.

Teagan Berkley is trying her best. A single mom raising a precocious teen, she may have given up on her dreams, but she's accepted her life in her small beachside hometown. Now the one person who abandoned her when she needed him the most has returned, bringing back memories of what might have been.

Review:
First, I would like to thank Forever Romance for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review! This was such a super sweet romance novel and I really enjoyed it!

So I'm a huge sucker for children being written into a book. Is it because I'm an educator... maybe? But I really loved the dynamic between Teagan and her daughter! As with any single parent, they're always wondering if what they're doing is the best for their child, so I can totally understand some hesitation... not to mention both girls are teenagers.

Okay so personally, I found some parts to be slower than the others. I also felt like there could have been some more dramatics played into the novel since there were so many years apart between Derek and Teagan. I just felt like the dramatic department lacked a bit for me, and I wish that there had been more.

Other than that, this was definitely an emotional, funny, heartbreaking and oh so swoon worthy of a novel.

And can we take a second to talk about Derek? Like this man did EVERYTHING he could and still ended up with a broken heart in so many ways. You could feel the attraction they both had, and how their friendship really changed. Also if you've read the book... that house? I could totally vision that as it was written in the book!

Overall, this was a really good novel. I loved the roller coaster of emotion, although I wish there was more dramatics to make the pull even better! The dynamic between the kids, the parents, and the entire group was really well written, and I loved their journey!

That's all for my review, I hope you enjoyed it!

So until the next time, Keep Reading!
Your Graduated Bookworm!! :)
