Review:
First, I'd like to thank Simon and Schuster Canada for sending me a copy in exchange for an honest review. Honestly this wasn't my cup of tea at all, and I really pushed myself to finish the book, because I never want to DNF in case things turn around.

jonah hill no GIFSo when getting into the story, it's written in third person perspective which I'm generally fine with, however since this dives into multiple women's lives, I think it would have been better to be written in first person, because I just did not connect with ANY of the characters at all...

Even in the synopsis, you're only thinking you'll focus on two characters, but really, you're getting to read the lives of all the main women who are in the department store. I felt like it was kind of all over the place, jumping from one woman to another and the storyline felt like it was kind of all over the place.

I really do think that the concept was good, and how each one interacts with one another but I just didn't feel it.

Overall...meh. This wasn't my cup of tea, but I'm sure there are plenty of others who actually did enjoy it. I just wished there was so much more actually happening that would want me to be so engaged into the book, but I just wasn't.

That's all for my review, be sure to check out my other reviews that you may have missed.

So until the next time, Keep Reading!
Your Graduated Bookworm!! :)
