A Little Bit Overwhelmed

Welcome back Bookworms! I've got another Life Update for you all here yet again. Hopefully you all enjoy reading these little things, and if there's anything you want me to answer, leave a comment or send me a message! So without much more ramblings, let's get on with it...

As you can tell by the title of this life update, I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed. There have been so many things coming at me around the same time in so many different directions, I wish I had a duplicate me or octopus arms to try and multitask even faster than I'm trying right now...

Have you ever felt like you've been doing every single damn thing possible and it's just not enough? Yeah, that's the heat I've been feeling. Sometimes as a blogger things just get way too hectic, but no one really talks about this. Instead we post the perfect picture of our books/life/self etc, and everyone thinks that it's all fine.

Trust me this is not a pity party by any means. Since the last life update, I've had some car issues that have prolonged further than it should have, and now I'm having to use a rental car until mine is fixed. I also have been working hard on more blog posts, updating my website more for you all, as well as I've started a new feature on the blog called Weekly Wednesdays that will be starting in July featuring a new creator every week! Let me tell you, getting into contact with the amount of people I did for that took a few days, but I am so incredibly happy that they have agreed to participate!

I've also been working at my actual paying job full time, programming for my class, and since I'm currently on vacation, I've had to get a lot (and I mean A LOT) of stuff finished for not only the week I'm away, but ready for the week I get back too...hectic doesn't even begin to explain this. This girl has been running on coffee for the past two weeks, let me tell you! #Thebagsarereal

I will say that since I had my last week with my students, most of them are graduating so we ended up having a cool party, and I got them these cute mason jars filled with stuff for them as a goodbye gift. Honestly seeing the excitement they had made up for the mass amount of hair pulling I did this school year. Of course not every day is the best, but it's the smallest of things with a group of students that can completely change the way your day begins/ends.

I've been in a constant state of moving around too. I swear a lot of my life is spent driving. Everywhere. I'll be glad once I'm in one place to stay and I won't be moving around and driving everywhere all the time. Sometimes my schedule gets so hectic, I literally need like an army to come in and just be like, "Okay, Morgan. Listen. This is exactly what you're going to do, because it's the most logical." I won't lie that sometimes it's really overwhelming trying to figure out the times and days I'm available to actually try to catch up with friends and family. Hence the request for an assistant or duplicate...Wouldn't that be nice? (Probably not)

I also celebrated my anniversary with my boyfriend this past week, and we actually had so much fun just going on adventures around the city to High Park, checking out the animals at the zoo there, and then of course (with some persuasion) we went to Ikea and I finally got my office cart, which looks AH-mazing!! I mean I'm probably biased, but I think that this whole office look is really coming together...I don't have a photo of the whole office, but I do have my little cart!

We also found some really amazing art prints to hang up, and it looks so well put together! Other than that I think we just relaxed and watched T.V until on of us fell asleep...(it was me.)

snacks eating GIFI have been trying to continue with my healthy eating and living, although not everyday is a successful one. That's one thing I've learned about this journey as well. Not everyday is going to be amazing. I'm not super strict on how I think I should be or eat, because let's face it...I like food. I would like to think almost everyone likes food, but then again you never know. So while I've been working hard on my blogging and novel writing (getting to that soon!) I've also been kind of surrounded by snacks at the desk, and a lot of treats around everywhere. #Istherepizza?

I think I just need another vacation away from both the blogging and the job. Time to go away and relax under the sun with a nice cold drink, a book in my hands and just away from the city life for a while! Now if only I could get paid to do that, I think I would be a much happier camper! Anyway I don't want to drag this on much longer, and if you're still here reading this, then thank you!

That's all for my next Life Update, I hope you enjoyed it and please leave a comment and be sure to subscribe to my mailer list for updates on all things bookish! Now this girl is going to get a coffee, and some food...

So until the next time, Keep Reading!

Your Graduated Bookworm!! :)
