One Thing Lockets Product Review

Welcome Back bookworms to another Product Review! It has definitely been too long since I've done one, and although I'm trying to get more out there for you, life definitely gets in the way! Also, if there's a product you would like me to do a review on, don't hesitate to send a comment or message me on any social media outlet!! So without anymore babble, let's get to it!!

One Thing Lockets

Item: Necklace/Bracelet lockets
Material: Handmade Swarovski Crystals, Brass Wenge Wood
Rating: 4/5

So I had received the bracelet in a subscription box a while back, and I was so in love with the design and colour! After that I was contacted asked to do a product review on their item, as well as share my REP code for you all! Of course I've been excited to share all of this with you all for a while now, so to be able to do it is even more exciting!

A Little Backstory...

One Thing Lockets was inspired by a documentary about people living in poverty with only a dollar a day. By following these people with only a dollar, you see their pursuit of life and happiness are similar despite the superficial differences...

"What is one thing you bring to this world?"

The answer to these lockets are written and stored inside and sent to everyone that makes a purchase, and if you can connect to the answer, it's a small little move to bring others together in this world. It's all about connecting people around the world, whether you know them or not.

When you've received your order, it will arrive in these beautiful glass tubes, and attached with it is their story, what you can do with yours, and a little package of your own One Thing strips of paper to write down your own! I love how each individual piece gets it's own sort of kit for you to do whatever you want with it! It's like if you purchased it, and then wrote a note to give the item to a loved one, or to even ship it out as a gift anonymously, which would be so amazing!

If you don't want to write your own thing, but would rather hold onto the one already created, you can keep it stored into your One Thing Locket. I love opening them up from time to time and just read the note, and where it came from around the world. The best part is, that for (almost) every bracelet, there is a matching necklace that you can pair with it! Also, if you want to stay up to date on new items, sales, or just look at more amazing photos, follow them on Instagram!

Alright now getting to the part that you've probably been waiting for! Since my exchange rate is still crazy wack, It's hard to exactly say to buy or not to buy, because it all depends on where you live. I seriously love the look of these lockets, because they're not your typical locket. They hold a lot of meaning, and definitely help out a great cause! I definitely am letting you know to check it out! You can also get them custom designed with an engraving (which will cost extra, but oh so cute!)

So I'm basing it off the initial price which is $28.00 USD and have converted it with shipping , although prices will always vary:

Canadian Dollars: $37.30/$77.26
Canadian Shipping: FREE
Canadian Customs: No

 US Dollars: $28.00/$58.00
US Shipping: FREE
US Customs: No

British Pound: £22.32/£46.23
British Shipping: FREE
British Customs: Yes

So personally for me, it is pretty high in cost, which makes the free shipping much better. But you also have to take into count the materials that they use as well, so realistically it's pretty great! I would definitely give this as a gift to someone for a birthday, or holiday because it is just gorgeous, but I probably wouldn't get them all the time. (But that's just me, mostly because I don't always wear jewelry anyhow, and I would be so broke if I could get them all!!) Of course wherever you are, the prices will change, and there are always going to be sales happening. But for what I am getting, I think that's a pretty reasonable price. The quality is very pristine, and elegant as well. I feel like you could wear these at any age, and any function, because they are so simple yet beautifully crafted.

That's all for my product review of One Thing Lockets! I really think it's a great brand, and they support a great cause. If you're into jewlery and the look of these, I am telling you to check it out! Also, if you're purchasing, please use my code BOOKWORM20 for 20% off your purchase! Totally worth it!!

So until the next time, Keep Reading!!
